Popular actress Dalljiet Kaur has lent her voice to Global Airway Health Day, which is observed worldwide on Oct. 2.

In a public service video especially made for the Foundation for Airway Health, the popular actress encourages her fans to join that global day’s commemorations, which include the foundation’s first-ever “O2 Breathe-A-Thon” on Facebook Live. The international day and webathon aim at raising awareness about upper respiratory health issues.

Ms. Kaur has about a million followers on Instagram thanks to a prolific career on the small screen that earned her the title of India’s “television sweetheart.” Her t.v. credits include “Kulvaddhu,” “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?” and “Kaala Teeka.”

The actress has also shined in reality t.v. shows. Along with actor Shaleen Bhanot, she won in “Nach Baliye,” something like America’s “Dancing With the Stars,” and was also featured in “Bigg Boss,” the Indian version of “Big Brother.”

Before becoming a television star, Ms Kaur competed in various beauty pageants. She won the title of Miss Pune in 2004 and was a finalist in other contests such as Miss Navy, Miss Mumbai and Miss Maharashtra Queen, among others.

With her eyes set on the big screen, the former beauty queen now plans to conquer Bollywood.
